The 2024 Golf Clinic Programs Registration has officially opened for the year!

The Golf School has moved to a new location and all Golf Clinics will be held at Paradise Family Golf in Middleton.

Golf Clinics are held throughout April, May, June, July, August, and September. Golf clinics are an excellent way to learn the game of golf in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Each golfer is provided with sound fundamentals that last a lifetime. The clinic programs are designed to use a developmental approach to fine tuning each student’s strengths while eliminating their weaknesses to build a core of essential golf skills that will improve any golfer’s game. Ideal for Beginners and Intermediate golfers!

New Location: All golf clinics will be held at: PARADISE FAMILY GOLF in MIDDLETON.

Here are all the golf clinic and golf camp programs we currently offer for 2024::

- Little Birdies Golf Clinic Program: Ages 5-7
- Junior Golf Clinic Program: Ages 8-12

- Ladies Golf Program: Ages 18+

- Junior Golf Camps: Ages 7-12 (Monday-Thursday from 9am-12pm).

Ladies Golf Clinic Programs Ages 18+

All of the Golf Clinic Programs run for 4 consecutive weeks. Each week we cover a different aspect of the game and on the final week we transfer our new golf skills onto the golf course for a playing clinic.

WEEK 1: Full Swing Fundamentals - Irons

  • Discuss Full-Swing Fundamentals with Irons

  • Discuss pre-swing fundamentals like grip, alignment to the target and proper setup mechanics

  • Discuss in-swing fundamentals and mechanics(Correct Body and Club Mechanics)

  • Work on full swing sequence

WEEK 2: Full Swing Fundamentals - Driver, Fairway Woods, and Hybrids

  • Introduction to the full swing with the Driver, Fairway Woods, and Hybrids

  • Review of full swing fundamentals from week 1

  • Discuss the similarities and differences between the full swing with irons and the driver, fairway woods, and hybrids

  • Work on full swing sequence

WEEK 3: Short Game & Putting Fundamentals

  • Discuss short game and putting fundamentals

  • Discuss chipping and pitching mechanics (station 1)

  • Discuss putting mechanics (station 2)

  • Rotate stations after 30 minutes

  • Work on basic Green Reading Skills and putting strategy

WEEK 4: On-Course Playing Clinic using Trackman Software

  • Discuss basic Rules of Golf & proper Etiquette

  • Work on Playing Strategy & Course Management

  • Discuss Pre-Shot Routines and club selection

  • Learn how to navigate Trouble Shots


2024 Junior Golf Camps Ages 7-12

Unfortunately we are not offering Summer Junior Golf Camps this season(2024) but plan to again in 2025.

Junior Camp Format:

Hour 1: Full Swing training/coaching and video analysis review - Each student will receive a slow motion video analysis review of his or her golf swing. The instructor will highlight the key areas that need the most work and provide drills and training.

Hour 2: Short Game and Putting Fundamentals - We will cover all aspects of chipping and pitching, bunker play and putting. We will conclude this hour with a Putting contest and games.

Hour 3: On-Course Play using Trackman Software - Discuss basic rules of golf and proper etiquette. Introduce playing strategies and course management. Learn how to navigating trouble shots and bad lies. Finish with a variety of different Tournament Formats and fun games/contests.

*Fridays reserved as a makeup date in case of inclement weather*

Phil Cornetta Golf School Clinic and Camp Program Policies:

  • To reserve a spot, payment must be made in full

  • Clinics/Camps are filled on a 1st come 1st serve basis

  • It is the responsibility of the participant to attend all the scheduled clinic/camp dates. If a clinic or camp date is missed there will NOT be any make-up session available. Please plan accordingly before signing up.

  • In the event of inclement weather, clinic/camp status will be determined 2 hours before the scheduled clinic/camp time. If a clinic is canceled due to weather a make-up date will be determined. If a camp date is canceled due to wether the make-up date will be on Friday of that particular week.

  • Golfers are encouraged to bring their own equipment but clubs will be provided if needed. Left handed golf clubs are very limited especially for junior golfers.

  • Full payment refundable up to one week(7 days) prior to the clinic or camp start date. Any cancellations made less than one week(7days) prior from the clinic or camp start date will receive no refund.

All participants acknowledge/understand that golf has inherent risks and like most sports can cause injuries. By registering for the Phil Cornetta Golf School Clinic or Camp Programs participants agree to hold all golf instructors and Paradise Family Golf harmless from any/all injuries resulting from you or your junior’s participation in the Phil Cornetta Golf School Clinic or Camp programs. If you or your junior golfer that is registered displays conduct during any clinic or camp which is deemed disruptive, harmful or disrespectful to fellow student golfers, the golf facility or any instructor you or they will be dismissed from any remaining classes without a refund.
